Men across the globe are uniting this November to support the epic Movember campaign, where growing a moustache and getting donations for your efforts all helps put money towards the worthy cause in the fight against men’s health and suicide prevention.
Did you know that prostate cancer is the most common cancer diagnosed in men in the UK and that over 40,000 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year – in fact, every hour 1 man dies from prostate cancer. 1 in 8 men in the UK have also experienced a mental health problem.
We want to help....
We’ve teamed up with Currys PC World and we’re pledging to grow some mos, help with fundraising activities and to build awareness.
But where do you come in?
We want to share the fun and raise as much as possible, so we’ve asked the team at Currys PC World to donate 3 prizes:
All you have to do to win one of them is send a selfie of your own Mo – and a photo of your clean face from pre-movember to email@example.com or post them through our social links followed by #MovemberSVM by the 30th November 2017!
We’ll judge the best mo’s and award the prizes on 2nd December 2017 That’s it!
If you haven’t got the mo’ making gear – that’s okay! Why not donate to the cause here!

Show Them They Matter
Rewards and incentives aren’t just a cheap trick to plaster over cracks in the workplace. Used properly, they should form part of your culture. You should be thanking, gifting and congratulating a job well done, when it’s deserved. That doesn’t mean every small moment needs to be captured and celebrated, but the things that matter to your employees do need to be recognised – something as simple as a coffee gift card might make a difference. On top of this you should also be talking about the future – training, job titles, responsibilities – showing employees that in the future vision of your company, they’re there with you.
Want workplace health and wellbeing? Incentivise It!
The new Whispers from the water cooler: what motivates employees to improve their health and wellbeing report, which surveyed 1,003 full-time employees working for large organisations has found that 53% of respondents agree or strongly agree that their employer should be having a role in helping them to stop unhealthy behaviours.
