SVM Global welcomes Dan Grotto from SVM Cards, USA

SVM Global are pleased to welcome Dan Grotto, Strategist, Head of M & A, and Head of Corporate Integration from SVM LP, Chicago to the Rotherham offices.

Dan arrived in late September and has been working with the teams to help improve technical processes, bringing his expertise from years in business to the table. Prior to his position at SVM LP, Dan was President and Chief Financial Officer of a financial services firm with over $4 billion in financial transaction volume. Dan was also the financial advisor to an early stage financial services firm dedicated to the property and claims business lines of global insurance companies. Prior financial services experience includes member of the board of directors, President and CEO and advisor to commercial banks and President of Prepaid Solutions at Inc. Prepaid Solutions.

Dan specialises in the development and implementation of appropriate internal processes and reporting infrastructure, financial advisory services and working with large financial institutions. Dan is particularly interested in bringing a range of investments into SVM Global, including automation tools to encourage a more efficient service.

Dan said of the visit;

“It is a pleasure to work with SVM Global in the UK to add value and learnings taken from the continued growth of SVM Cards in Chicago. As the UK arm of SVM builds towards the busy peak period of trading, it was key to ensure that there was a SVM LP presence on site so we could fully prepare – ensuring the right processes are in place ready for a strong end to 2016. The employees, known as ‘family members’ at the business have been incredibly welcoming and I am enjoying spending time with each division separately. There is plenty of scope for small improvements into how the business operates and I look forward to seeing the successes that come.”

Brian Dunne, MD of SVM Global added: “The SVM Global family are delighted to have Dan here with us. He has a wealth of experience and it is wonderful to have our parent organisation so well represented here in the office. The learning and support we will gain will strengthen us greatly and we thank Dan and his wife, Susan, for taking the commitment to be with us here.“
